The original compositions on Paws to Relax were inspired by a pup named Romeo Largo. As a puppy, Romeo loved to snuggle up next to the speakers when relaxing music was being played. It was obvious to composer Philip DuBois (Romeo's Dad!) that calming music had a soothing, positive effect on pets and Philip began creating music specifically for this purpose. The extreme frequencies on this album have been reduced through refined sonic equalization to enhance the listening experience and enjoyment for pets. The nature sounds are subtle and gently interspersed to provide a relaxing environment for pups and people.
